[STDS-802-11-TGBP] SPs in PS MAC SP SET #1



Hi Bo,

 

To save time on the call later, kind help to replace SP2 as below (the current SP text modifies FM-17):

 

SP #2: Do you agree to the following?

The length of the ID field(s) in AMP frames used for communication with Active Tx and bi-static Backscatter non-AP AMP STAs is 16 bits.

 

Also, please help to add the following SP and reference text, prior to SP3, 4. SP3a attempts to clarify the definition of AMP AP and AMP Energizer; there seems to be some confusion in the group with the existing definition.

 

SP #3a: Do you agree on the following?

        An AMP AP is one of the following:

    • an infrastructure or mobile AP (i.e., capable of starting and maintaining a Basic Service Set (BSS))
    • a non-AP STA or an OCB STA (i.e., does not start and maintain a Basic Service Set (BSS))

        A non-colocated AMP Energizer is a non-AP STA or an OCB STA.

  • An AMP AP is a non-HT, HT, VHT, HE, EHT or UHR STA that is capable of transmitting AMP downlink (DL) PPDUs and receiving AMP uplink (UL) PPDUs.
  • An AMP Energizer is a non-HT, HT, VHT, HE, EHT or UHR STA that is capable of transmitting either WPT waveform, or AMP DL Type 4 PPDU for bistatic backscattering, or both.

Revmf_D3.0:

  • A WUR AP is a non-HT, HT, VHT, or HE AP that is capable of transmitting WUR PPDUs and supports the WUR operation.
  • mobile access point (mobile AP): An access point (AP) that is capable of keeping its Basic Service Set (BSS) operational while its location is changed.
  • outside the context of a basic service set (OCB): A mode of operation in which a station (STA) is not a member of a basic service set (BSS) and does not utilize IEEE 802.11 authentication, association, or data confidentiality services.
